PARTS INCLUDED:
This new cover has been designed to cover the factory water tank as well as the power steering reservoir and will provide a nice custom look to the area. The cover is simple to install with just a few steps. Your new cover comes to you with a protective liner. Do not remove this liner until prompted by instructions. 1. Remove the water tank pressure cap as well as the power steering cap. Remove the factory bolt just above and to the right side of the tank. NOTE: This factory bolt will not be reused. 2. Place the new cover over the tank and align the bolt hole with the one on the cover and fasten using the pan head screw provided. Be carefully not to OVER tighten the screw as this will distort the new cover. Just snug will be sufficient. 3. Replace the power steering cap. You have been provided with a replacement pressure cap. To install this cap set it in place and with the palm of your hand push down firmly and twist it on making sure it is fully rotated. Remove protective liner. 4. You have been provided with a chrome decorative cap cover, with the two tank caps in place simply clean the factory cap with household alcohol and then swipe once with the adhesive promoter provided then install the chrome cap by using the Velcro attachment cookies that are attached to the underside of the new chrome cap. You have been provided with a small chrome decorative cover for the pan head screw. This small cap has butyl attachment putty attached to the underside of the cap. This putty is very reliable and need only to be pressed onto the screw head with firm pressure.
NOTE 1: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly dust your cover with a clean California Duster first in order to prevent any particles from scratching them. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth or better yet Bounty paper towels) with a good quality streak free glass cleaner. PLEASE SEE ENCLOSED CARE SHEET.
